Program Overview
Neurodiversity Works Colorado is dedicated to empowering neurodivergent individuals to achieve meaningful careers and sustainable employment, particularly within the growing fields of drone technology and data analytics. We offer a range of innovative programs designed to meet the unique needs of our participants, fostering inclusion and success in the workplace. ​ Our services include Google Career Certificates in high-demand tech fields (data analytics, digital marketing, IT support, project management, and UX design); a paid Drone Pilot Apprenticeship (2000 hours); accessible online Digital Drone Workshops; engaging Drone Summer Camps; online FAA Part 107 License training; and a Virtual Job Immersion experience using VR technology to simulate a drone operator role. ​ We work closely with Google, drone industry partners, and educational institutions to create customized pathways to employment, providing ongoing support and mentorship to ensure long-term success. Our approach is based on individualized support, strengths-based development, and inclusive practices. ​ Our programs are designed to increase employment rates among neurodivergent individuals, improve workplace inclusion, and enhance skills and knowledge in high-demand tech sectors. We are committed to creating a more inclusive and equitable workforce where neurodivergent individuals can thrive.
Neurodiversity Works offers programs adaptable to both Pre-ETS and standard VR clients, leveraging the strengths of each service model.

What documentation is required to refer a client to Neurodiversity Works?A referral should include the client's IPE, outlining their vocational goals and needs. Additional information, such as the client's strengths, challenges, and learning style, is helpful for program placement.

How does Neurodiversity Works access DVR funding for programs?We work with DVR to determine the appropriate program and service codes that align with the client's IPE and the DVR Fee Schedule. We will provide necessary documentation to support funding requests.

What are the billing procedures for Neurodiversity Works services?We will provide invoices with the necessary information, including client name, authorization number, service codes, and hours provided. We adhere to the DVR's invoicing guidelines and payment timelines.

What are the procedures for handling cancellations or changes to scheduled services with Neurodiversity Works?Notify us as soon as possible of any cancellations or changes to scheduled services. We will work with you to reschedule services or adjust billing as needed, adhering to DVR guidelines regarding cancellation fees.

What support services are available?We provide individualized support and mentorship throughout the program. We also collaborate with parents, SWAP coordinators, teachers and DVR counselors to ensure access to additional resources and support services as needed.
